With beautifully crafted environments, simple yet complex combat mechanics, and a storyline with unexpected twists, the other two games have never been able to fully live up to the original. While Bioshock Infinite is still a fantastic game worth playing more than once, the first game in the series set the bar high enough to make it worth playing again.

Out of all of the games in the series, Bioshock 2 is the least memorable. It is in the same setting as the original game, but without the added bonus of being a true sequel. You can usually pick up a copy of Bioshock 2 in a bundle package, though, so it could still be worth playing if you want to play all of the Bioshock games in order.
