Event Track Recommends: Kleenex Facial Tissues, 10 ct, 3 Pack Speaking of bathrooms, this is primarily a female essential from what my fiance tells me. As she tells it, the bathrooms will run out of toilet paper and if you're a female you will want to bring some form of backup with you.

These small packs of kleenex are easy to grab and will fit into most any size bag. If you have one of these little guys it is sure to help, especially at the PM time frame when the sun is just absolutely brutal at Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo days are tough, even for someone who unequivocally loves Bonnaroo. Do not go to Bonnaroo in a new pair of shoes unless you are a fan of blisters. If that is the case, by all means wear your new shoes.

I would also note there is a solid chance your shoes come back in rough shape after Bonnaroo, so be ok with whatever you wear being ruined. You can put sunglasses in there at night, carry a hoodie in case it's cold in the evening, hold water bottles, etc. Basically, you need to bring a bag to hold all your other essentials.

Like most things at Bonnaroo, you should expect it to get trashed and be pleasantly surprised if it survives. This is why I recommend a cheap, solid backpack to carry your stuff. Comfort is the key in your Bonnaroo campground. You can also bring chairs that sit less than a foot off the ground into the festival grounds, so if you like to sit in the back area of a stage and enjoy the stage this is a nice option as well. During the day, casual festival clothes like jean shorts and tee shirts are a good fit.

If you need energy at your campsite, bring portable chargers or battery-powered devices only. They are dangerous and annoying to other concert-goers. Bring your selfie-stick instead if you want to get high-up pictures. No need to risk a forest fire. If you absolutely must, keep them locked and out of view in your vehicle. Bring some ice packs and keep them in your cooler.

You can also bring portable fans to use in your tent. The Festival staff will give you a trash bag when you go in, and they collect it later. Last year they gave festival-goers a raffle ticket for every bag of trash they turn in.

If you can, try and spend a little time picking up trash and help keep Bonnaroo clean! Pods are placed throughout the Bonnaroo campground and include community services such as information booths, medical stations, showers sometimes , and drinking water. Pods are your space to meet and get to know your camping neighbors!
